Vogue Chinese Cresteds is located in Dallas, Texas. Our dogs show in Agility, Obedience and Conformation. Bird, our oldest girl, is ranked #7 in AKC Agility for Chinese Cresteds. She is working towards her MACH. Bird won the Obedience High-In-Trial both days of the 2005 Crested National Specialty. Our oldest boy, Dino, is an AKC & International Champion. Both dogs show in Rally Obedience.

Bird is a wonderful dog. She loves people, she's obnoxiously friendly, loves to be pet. She is a happy Bird. When she gets especially happy, she leaps straight up and down in the air, jumping about 4 feet. Bird can fly. To see her running an agility course is breathtaking. Very fast and smooth as silk. Running her is like driving my Ferrari. I have to be very gentle with my handling, because too much power from me and she's off like a rocket. This is why she's not ranked #1 in agility- me, her less than desirable handler mother, Alicia, gives her the wrong cues. Remember- we're going really fast like in a race car. She has a wonderful handler, Lis' from New Zealand. They've won a lot. She's qualified in Grand Prix and many Q's in Steeplechase. In AKC we're working on her MACH, slowly but surely. We don't show nearly enough.

Bird is a great obedience dog. Got her CD in 4 days. At the 2005 ACCC Nationals, she won High-In-Trial both days and got her CD title as well. In Rally she's happy, super quick and fun. Bird is a big fan of Lure Coursing too- she's super fast.

Bird is a sleep-a-holic. In fact, Lis' figured out that at shows Bird does not sleep and that is why she's can bomb a run. Bird loves her daddy Jon and chooses to sleep snuggled with him most often. She is an Under-cover-bird. Little Bird must cover up or she gets cold.

Bird is a slate body color and white hair true hairless with a strip of hair on her back about 2" wide of white hair. This hair is sparse really, but since her skin is dark, it really shows up. You can see in this picture here at the right she has not been shaved in months. Kind of ratty looking. She looks great shaved every 2-4 weeks.

Bird Brain is super cool. She's the perfect Crested. Training her in agility and obedience was a breeze. Showing her has been hard because she's so darn fast, I dream of the day she's 10 or so years old and I can keep up with her... Bird was born in 1999. She is very big, just under 14" and she weighs 13#. She is spayed and can not be a mother. Bird prefers to be a Working Girl.
